Subject: RE: 'Liar, 'Liar' banned by UK media From: Steve Shaw Date: 31 May 17 - 08:19 AM Brilliant video. The fact that it's being banned means that millions more people will seek it out. Just like I did just now! |

Subject: RE: 'Liar, 'Liar' banned by UK media From: DMcG Date: 31 May 17 - 08:50 AM Tricky. I would not really want to open the door to any party getting unrestricted air/viewing time. It might not be the party you would like another time. On balance, I think the BBC compromise of letting people know where to find it but not broadcasting it is the best of the bad options available. |

Subject: RE: 'Liar, 'Liar' banned by UK media From: GUEST,Sol Date: 31 May 17 - 09:22 AM Amendment to above post. Should read "favourite Parties" |
Subject: RE: 'Liar, 'Liar' banned by UK media From: Mr Red Date: 31 May 17 - 09:29 AM Until the Tories, the Greens, the purples, the yellows and the oranges promote a song it would be difficult to broadcast it within 6 weeks of an election and remain impartial. All broadcaster are bound by UK statute to deliver balance. Radio music programmes don't hector their audience. Unlike some neo-folk performers. |
Subject: RE: 'Liar, 'Liar' banned by UK media From: GUEST,CJB Date: 31 May 17 - 10:17 AM Could go up on YouTube. They are still hosting diatribes from extremist Imams. So why not a simple protest song? BTW don't forget to watch the 'Power of Song' documentary by Pete Seeger. |
