Subject: Origins: Win Your Love For Me From: GUEST Date: 14 Jun 17 - 09:35 AM Does anyone know the song that Sam Cook sung Win Your Love For Me and when it was recorded? Well I can tell you now. The tune did not start as how Sam Cook heard it first. This tune is a lot older than you might think it is. In 1950 a song called Pay Me My Money Down by The Weavers did exist and a few others. From the 1916 ears before so my advice is to try and listen to some of the songs and don't get confused with the tune and the tempo of it. This is what folk say about this song - this song is a song that only dates back to 1956 but you might be mistaken to think that. in 1915 there had existed songs long before Sam Cook and Vince Martin and the Tarriers recorded Cindy O Cindy hit the charts but I would like some more information on the song Win Your Love For Me and when Sam Cook recorded the song - it must have been before 1962 or a year before 1961 - but did he know that the tune had long been known before and written in 1915.
