2017 line up includes the Pheonix Ceilidh Band I assume they are the locally based Pheonix not Cambridge Pheonix nor Rod Stradling's band. Have dance to them, they are good.

This is always a wonderful , friendly , family, festival with so much for everyone...dance , street stuff, sessions, singarounds , food , real ales , concerts and much more. I would urge newcomers to go along for a lovely weekend as all are made so welcome . The regular attenders are already well aware of how very good it is as they return year after year . I hope you enjoy your weekend in Cleckheaton.

Yes, Clecky is one of the best and friendliest of the smaller-scale festivals, and it's always a highlight of the festival calendar.
This year, for the first time, the festival programme includes a Just Voices singers' session (like the monthly ones at Hunslet), on the Friday evening at the Station Tavern, with free entry (bucket collection for the festival). Come all ye!
