This seems to be punk rock. (I pay so little attention to this genre that I'm not even sure I know what to call it when I hear it.) But I must admit, I found the words strangely moving. This is my attempt at a transcription from the recording. There are some gaps and some uncertainties.

Even though I should understand the Australian accent, I'm not so good at hearing lyrics. I tend to focus more on the music than the lyrics.


Verse one, last line, from 0:30 on track:

It's the world going [from the part?] .... burning our minds



CHORUS: 4th line, 0:55 on track
But you know "This is not love; this is desperation.


Verse 3, 2:30 on track:

But in a world that's ready to bury the weak, we can …(?) just like any fruit(?) [or is it "fool"(?)]

2:30 on track

I never dared (?) you couldn't survive, never dared(?) outlast (?) the years(?)


Maybe another Aussie can take up the challenge

I agree; this is correct.

The rest of your suggestions may be correct, but I can't feel confident of them until each line makes sense as a whole, and it doesn't yet. I think we're going to need more people working on this.

Yes, more people manning (or personning) the pump, please.

That "dared" line isn't correct grammar but it might be poetic licence, trying to fit words to the melody.

I did a typo, I think.

I never dared (?) we [NOT you] couldn't survive, i.e. "we" as a couple, I think.

Don't forget that some rock lyrics are not great literature. I saw a documentary on Metallica and sometimes the band members just cobble lines of lyrics together into a semblance of making sense, and it appears that what matters more is whether the words fit the melody. It explains why some of their songs are a bit obscure when trying to work out the meaning. Maybe there is no meaning, or maybe just a thin layer of intention rather than fully explainable meaning.
