Back from a great time at the Tenterden Folk Festival. A fantastic weekend and good to meet some Catters there too. What fab music all round with singarounds and instruments in the pubs and venues finishing off last night with the concert in the Saddlery and the final Caxton finale. It couldn't happen without the amazing Alan Castle and his team of helpers who always do a brilliant job Looking forward to next year already

First concert done this afternoon - a good turnout for a Thursday and nice to catch up with friends Doug Welch, Bob Kenward, Nick Dow and Bob & Kathy Drage. Next up tomorrow is our Vaughan Williams showcase concert in the Saddlery 12.30 - 1.20pm. Hoping to recruit potential singers for our workshop on Saturday and performance on Sunday

We start off our sessions tomorrow Thursday in the Saddlery. Have to run a training course first in the morning so we shall be rushing off to get there by 3.30pm

Morrigan have a set of performances at the Tenterden Folk Festival in Kentthis year including some participatory stuff for everyone. This is such a lovely friendly event with great singarounds in the pubs every evening and tune sessions too, a ceilidh on Friday night and numerous concerts (some free). The weather is looking good too.

Our performances
Thurs 5th afternoon concert 3.30 to 5.30 with others in the Saddlery
Friday 6th concert of Vaughan Williams Collected Songs in Saddlery 12.30 to 1.20pm
Saturday 7th come and learn to sing some Vaughan Williams collected folk songs which we will then all perform at the Sunday evening concert
1-2.30pm in Glebe
Sunday 7th Evening concert performance with singers from Saturday plus other performers too and then we hot foot it to the Caxton where we are guests at the final singaround

And if you don't catch us at Tenterden we have lots of other stuff lined up for the Autumn - Lancaster Music Festival, Hareng Roi Festival in Etaples, France, Rochester Dickens Festival and more
