Also part of a band known as Willowcreek. They perform in Darlington market place on a Sunday.

Ian is still living in Darlington and is still teaching banjo. The band was Huckleberry Hollow and they played at the Athy Bluegrass Festival in 1993.

Many years ago I met an excellent Bluegrass group from England whose leader was Ian Sharp. Since then I haven't heard anything of them or him. He was from Darlington if my memory is correct ? Ian was a terrific banjo player who was kind enough to send me some instructions on that instrument back around the early 1990s and they were a great help.
