I also remember her in the movie Thunder Road opposite Robert Mitchum. She was a great blues singer.

Keely Smith seemed ageless.
She had a sound like Eydie Gormé whose partnership with Steve Lawrence was lifelong.

Louis Prima in fact was many times married, but there was only one Keely Smith.

Keely Smith has passed on. She had a long solo career after an eventful career with singing partner and husband Louis Prima. I became aware of her through her spouse but admired her ability to overcome life's vicissitudes and continue her art.
