THat's not very clear from the site. I think a lot of folkfans would n#ot know about it.
I've seen no mention on Sadfolk webste, or anywhere else come to think. Its a pity . Exmouth is a lovely town. I grew up there in my teens - worked as a deckchair man in vacations. A lot of folk fans would love a weekend there.

you need to get it on sadfolk website and facebook page, and sanchobramble site toute de suite, or even sooner.

I will e-mail him. With a ticket website there is hopefully a reason to list it on my website. I really need a location, like the main pub used or the house next to the park - because I use postcodes & OSGR for my map page.

I think the Town Festival is a campaign to attract people for the week. I am sure the city fathers were happy to have a folk weekend attached, but we folkies like making music. Publicity is secondary.

unless you are an information junkie

I think the full stop at the end of the sentence can be too easily copied and then it gives a 404.

Nothing about pub sessions, but maybe Alan Whitbread will start one. You can count on him. Maybe in the beer tent.

Imperial Gardens location but the car park is near EX8 1EJ

to be brutally honest. its still as clear as mud.

just write down what the hell is going.
send supplies of the list to every local dj, magazine, newspaper.

at least some people will get to hear about it.

Ah - many sessions in the Bicton Inn (always a folk-friendly pub)

The Grove, the Strand, Grapevine (Shanty), and Folk Club in Manor Hotel.

the Beach pub is hosting several things and would appear to be in the town. The poster could mislead you into thinking it is in Exeter.

And a Barn Dance - probably on grass, which makes it a proper Folk festival IMNSHO. I have it listed on mister.red festivals, june.

But no mention of Topsham Folk Club, maybe they declined to get involved.

Quite a spread of things, worthy of good publicity. Even a Town Crier competition - which speaks for itself!

some clue as to when these joyous events take place might be useful.

God you're making me sound like a right arsehole, but really I do think we need to know.

Sorry in advance.

Thanx, the poster could be confusing. Too late now, but worth a clarification here.

Nice town.
