Sadly, I'm going to have to miss this year's Festival. I don't think I've missed one before in 20 years. However, Friday, June 8th is the opening of a major retrospective exhibit of Dahlov Ipcar's artwork at Bates College in Maine. And on Saturday there is a major lecture at the exhibit. I kind of have to be there.

sciencegeek, I, too, am glad the symposium will be at the seaport both days. So much more convenient--although not for one of my friends who lives near Avery Point and was hoping it would be there on Friday. For me, though, it means I can sleep a little longer that morning.

i have two queen beds on thursday seventh at nearby econolodge..would share with non-drinking (by which I mean stumbling drunk) female, one only. No other visitors to room, quiet person...

I also have a room there sunday night. same terms..but i would have to know soon because at this point i only have one bed...if i change reservation i would need to be paid soon...
