Subject: Tube Add: The Linnet Shed From: GUEST,Captain Swing Date: 03 Jul 18 - 01:46 PM Here’s a little jig that I wrote while in Scotland recently. It’s called ‘The Linnet Shed’. Mp3 link https://cl.ly/2H192J1c0t2K Sheet music/tab: https://cl.ly/0G2w0q1E2B1I The Linnet was a steamboat that carried passengers on the Crinan Canal on the west coast of Scotland. The Linnet was built in 1866 and worked the canal for more than 60 years. She sailed the canal for the last time in 1929. The Linnet Shed was the Linnet’s boat shed and the remains of it can be seen casting reflections in the water on the canal.
