I certainly could access it easily in the Irish Republic. As for TV iplayer, why would you bother? |

I've never had any trouble accessing iPlayer Radio in Europe. The TV version is not accessible outside the UK, but then I don't even own a telly so I'm not fussed about that. I use a local data SIM card for my iPad, usually Vodafone, its dirt cheap and the coverage in Portugal makes the UK look like a third world country. Spain is more expensive but the coverage is just as good. I've tried the new BBC Sounds app but I don't find it very user friendly. Roger |
