No idea if this is a troll, or just a waste of time

But whatever, it's a ridiculous question. Utterly subjective and you make no mention of what you want to do, style of music, budget etc, etc...

Are you very bored?

Well, GUEST, Ed, the unnamed guest who started this thread has more of a digital footprint here than you do. So be patient, let people tease out the details.

Definitely not true about the footprint, Stilly - not that it matters.
But asking people at Mudcat, which is currently mostly British, who the "best guitarist" in a particular city is won't be very helpful. There's never a "best", and I'd think you'd have to go there first, and talk to folks.

A search on "Ed's" IP shows nothing - a search on "GUEST, Ed," brings up a slew of Eds. We have a few Nashville folks who drop in, perhaps someone will offer a starting point.

Frank is pretty good. You'll find him in the bars on Broadway. He's the guy with the elbow halfway up his arm. Remind him he owes me 20 bucks!

Friends of mine recorded in Nashville many year ago. They were given a list of session guitarists by the studio boss/manager which filled a couple of pages A4 paper. They asked who was the best - his reply was that they were all the same, and any single one they picked could do the job.

Well, there's thirteen hundred and fifty two
Guitar pickers in Nashville
And they can pick more notes than the number of ants
On a Tennessee anthill
