Changes in the way we pay donations to Mudcat mean that currency charges will now apply. These currency charges together with recent imposition of Bank charges mean that it is no longer economic to use this account. .

Donations can still be made via the Mudcat logo and bank charges will not be payable by this method of donation

Many thanks to all who have donated over the years.

There is a Friends of the Mudcat Permathread which gives much detailed background for anyone interested.

The Amazon UK link on the donations page http://amazonUK.mudcat.org gets a 404.

I have https://www.amazon.co.uk/?tag=mudcatorg-21 bookmarked. Does that still cause funds to go to Mudcat?

This account closure is completely independent of the Amazon link and

therefore has no effect on it. .

Inasmuch as this is a current thread concerning donations to Mudcat, it seemed an appropriate place to point out the broken link and to enquire whether the other URL still results in donations.

At the moment only the US link works. This may or not be a permanent arrangement. No doubt Mudcat HQ will confirm if this is a temporary glitch or not.

When you click the "Donate" link, it's through PayPal. Max undoubtedly set it up to go to the correct address.
