Thanks Kat for sending me the MIDI.....

Kat is still unsure of the title for this tune but for the time being anyway it is called Lament and can be heard at Mudcat MIDIs

Galliard de/de/la Chat/Chatte.....which is correct?

isn't chat male (le chat) therefore it would be Galliard du Chat...... let me know when you decide and I'll change it.....

Liz The Squeaks SO ( Liz is still recovering from flu') came round to us for Mulled wine last evening and I played it for him, he did music at school including a lot of Early music and he says he thinks it might more correctly be Pavane and Galliard, the Pavane being the slow and stately section, Hope this helps. I like it. Micca
