Subject: RE: Need to clear head cold for gig! From: Dave the Gnome Date: 02 Jun 19 - 10:34 AM I always find a couple of whisky and Lemsips work for me. Not sure what it would do to your performance though :-O :D |

From: GUEST,Richard Robinson Date: 02 Jun 19 - 10:39 AM Seconded - Otrivine is very effective for drying a dribbling nose ("Trust me, I'm a clarinettist"). Don't leave it till the last minute, last time I needed it it took a couple of hours to take effect. |

Subject: RE: Need to clear head cold for gig! From: GUEST,Some bloke Date: 02 Jun 19 - 12:50 PM Been head cold / mucus / cough for over a week now and had to be out singing four nights... Sinutab seems to stop the mucus for a while, Fisherman's Friend allows me to hear myself and avoiding deep breath songs or introducing more breathe points helps with the need to cough. Plus the "waffle whilst tuning" can be all about the pros and cons of sucking a fisherman's friend. You'd be surprised how many actually haven't heard it..... |
