Subject: Tune Req: House of Argyle From: clueless don Date: 08 Aug 19 - 10:38 AM In the wikipedia (which, of course, is not always accurate) article about the 1934 Hollywood film of J. M. Barrie's "The Little Minister", it states "The soundtrack includes the traditional Scottish tunes 'The Bonnie Banks O' Loch Lomond,' 'Comin' Thro' the Rye,' and 'House of Argyle.'" I am familiar with Loch Lomond and Comin' thro' the Rye, but I have never heard of "House of Argyle". Neither Google, nor YouTube, nor JC's Tune Finder give me any help. Can anyone point me to a source? Don |
