Does anyone have a copy of this, or know where I can get one. Magna Carta are still on the club circuit, but not the people I saw in the late 60's, early 70's. I remember bits of the music on this album, and I do one called "Elizabethan"
Can anyone help?
Thanks, Bron.

I have "songs from Worsties Orchard", Live in ??? Norway on vinyl, and Rhymes and reasons CD and one other. I think Elizabethan is on songs from W..Orchard. I will check and get back to you. "My lady is so fair and dark the river flows etc. Magna carter are still gigging and Chris Simpson is still going strong, they also have a web site and a subscribers newsletter. Give me a couple of days I am busy until thursdays evening (one evening at a mudcatters meet) then if you want e mail me at eric@lackford20.freeserve.co.uk and I will sort the vinyl out and get you the proper names of the cds. I like to sing "Time for the leaving" and love the live version of ring of stones. Cheers. Eric

Bron, Ihave 'Seasons' On Vertigo LP 6360 003. I don't know if it's still about but I usually find that 'Record Collector' magazine is useful for finding 'lost' records. Try a Want Ad. Failing that, I guess you're only just over Offa's Dyke from me, leave your e-mail address and I'll give you a call.

Lanfair
I'm sorry I can't help you with your request but here is a little story you might like.
Linda Taylors family now live on the Island and her brother Allen sang with us, although he'd never told us about his sister, so when she came in to see us play and asked if she could do a few songs in Beer break we had no idea what we were getting.

We learned that night. NEVER NEVER put on someone in the break who is better than you. she BLEW us off stage.

I don't suppose you are in the UK, Victoria? We can transfer music to CD as one-offs- Jim has the technology!
Thanks for the story, Graham. I hate it when that happens, Hwyl, Bron.

I'm in the US (to the detriment of my English folk buying appetites! Drat!) Can anyone give any info. on what Magna Carta material actually is availiable on tape / CD? I may be able to call in a couple favors (or I should say "favours" LOL!) from a British pal of mine, if I know what to send her looking for. Any advice?

I recently came across a CD. by Magne Carta.
It's called ``Heartlands´´,given out in 1992 by Sound Products Holland B.V.
I also saw a copy of Seasons at a record sale, but the price was way out of my pocket!
Greetings John.

Thanks for all the advice everyone! I will certainly check CD Now... meantime, here's a neat twist - I went to Magnac.com, linked from there to another folk music site-of-interest, and unexpectedly stumbled across a friend I had lost touch with fifteen (or more!) years ago!! Ain't folk music grand? :-)
