There used to be a site that I used years ago, that was divided into days/places that could be used for finding folk clubs. As we will be travelling the length/breadth of England, can anyone give me a link to a good site to use in 2020? Thanks in advance.

Probably your best bet is Martin Nails on-line guide at www.englishfolkinfo.org.uk/regional.html but like all folk club guides, it is one thing to set it up. It is quite another to keep it up to date so always check the continued existence before setting out to visit a club.

Open these in a browser\tab, not 'maps'

Like Vic says, easy to add, less easy to keep up to date but try
Folk Club Map
https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1plE0C69JOiO8FotbmDlDvE2qxbM&ll=54.4%2C-1.6&z=6

For local listers of what's on you could find links on UK Folk Links map
https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1plE0C69JOiO8FotbmDlDvE2qxbM&ll=54.8%2C-1.6&z=6

Modesty forbids Shez, but the blickie - Mr Red - don't forget to look at the datestamp, it is my way of dealing with how information works in the time domain.

^^^^^^^ just noticed that though Vic's text is correct the actual link doesn't work

try
http://www.englishfolkinfo.org.uk/regional.html

~~~~~~~~~
Vic , it needs the 'http://' or Mudcat interprets it as a Mudcat page. Or something like that.
Mapwise at the moment the Folk Club Map might be more up to date than Chris Rust's Folk Music Map.
Open this one in a browser rather than 'maps'.
