Well, my first attempt at this item got hardly any response and so I thought I'd give it a more contemporary tile.
This Sunday March 8th, Pete is on a re-run of the hit UK TV variety show "Sunday Night at the London Palladium" from 1965. I remember seeing Pete on this show but I thought that it was 1964. Anyway the appearance I recall begins with Pete playing "Freight Train".
The show is on the "Talking Pictures" channel at 9pm

Sounds an intriguing channel too.

It's a great channel - quite often the only films worth watching on TV!

An interesting watch. His song about relishing diversity would sadly have fallen on stony ground these days, and I always found the Abi Yo-yo routine a bit tedious, but good to see banjo and finger picked twelve string on a West End stage.
Note how good comic timing meant Howerd got loads of laughs whilst some of Tarbuck’s jokes fell flat.

Wasn't impressed with Pete's choice of songs, and that 12 string guitar sounded dreadful played high up the neck.

I saw it on repeat he came over very well and showed his storytelling ~ nothing contentious for the period
