Subject: RE: scandi hour on now From: leeneia Date: 12 Oct 20 - 01:11 PM Thanks. I like Scandinavian trad. So if I click on your link on Saturdays at 3 pm Pacific time, do I get to hear the show? Is it archived? I'm not experienced with radio on the web. |

Subject: RE: scandi hour on now From: Jos Date: 24 Oct 20 - 05:20 PM I'm finally listening to it - 10 pm British summer time - having failed to find it earlier. I hadn't expected the time difference to be as much as eight hours. Though it might be seven hours next week after our clocks change. Do the clocks change in Oregon? |
Subject: RE: scandi hour on now From: Jos Date: 24 Oct 20 - 06:06 PM In answer to Leeneia's question 'Is it archived?' I found this: 'Due to the abrupt closure of Radio Free America, we are temporarily unable to provide the 2-week archive of our programming. We are working to find a solution that best fits our needs, so please stay tuned for updates.' |
Subject: RE: scandi hour on now From: mg Date: 24 Oct 20 - 08:35 PM i don't think we are changing to or from daylight savings time yet in washington or oregon. i think it is an insane and arrogant thing to do. |
Subject: RE: scandi hour on now From: Jos Date: 25 Oct 20 - 05:09 AM The UK experimented with not changing the clocks between 1968 and 1971, but then reverted. Suggestions that the time change should end bring complaints from Scotland about children having to go to school in the dark. Maybe schools could start later? |
