Doesn't totally meet your criteria but a favorite bad country song name of mine is Freddie Hart's "I'll Hit It With a Stick" The Country Gentlemen did a song called "Matterhorne" but there are plenty of songs about mountains and landscapes in general. Red River Valley, Cumberland Gap, The Little Country Church, etc. Or are you looking for songs about animated inanimate objects? If it's the latter you're looking for, some songs are: - My Shoes Keep Walking Back to You by Bob Wills - Hello Walls by Faron Young - This Old House by Stuart Hamblen - Day In the Life of a Railroad Spike by Balsam Range - Sticks That Make Thunder by The Steeldrivers - Country Roads by John Denver (if you think about it... right?) - Trouble and Me by Buck Owens - Blue Eyes Crying In the Rain by Roy Acuff - Whispering Pines by Clyde Moody (or Johnny Horton) - A Little Bitty Tear Let me Down by Eddy Arnold (among others) Some songs about animate objects but using (non-risque) double entendres include Bed of Roses and Charlotte's Just a Little Father Down the Road, both by the Statler Brothers I can keep going if you'd like, I'm not even close to going through the songs downloaded to my computer. |
