2020 Obit: Mick Tyas

I was very sad to have learned that Mick Tyas, possibly best known for being a member of the Whisky Priests (bass, mandolin, bouzouki, vocals), died in late November after succumbing to Covid 19.

Mick was a lovely guy and had many interests. I last saw him in person at the Whisky Priests reunion gig at Musicport in 2018 and he and the band were on fine form.

I agree, an absolute cracking tribute to Mick, was such a friendly and talented person.
