The Buckaroos (featuring Don Rich)

Kay Adams doing 'She Didn't Color Daddy' is a real country tearjerker.

Interesting article and well-written. I loved Buck and Don, the Buckaroos and Don Brumley's steel playing.
Here's a blog post from Cocaine and Rhinestones that covers some of the same ground but maybe goes into a bit more detail. Scroll down to read the transcript.

Thanks both of you, lots of 'who knew' stuff.   I don't even think of Don Rich as a guitarist, though he was great. He was the other half of the Buck Owens vocal line. Don't really fancy listening to Buck much if that wasn't there.

I know what you mean, patty.
Don was also a heckuva a fiddler, which was his primary instrument before Buck got him to play electric guitar.
Cajun Fiddle
