Subject: Obit: David Surette From: Waddon Pete Date: 01 Feb 22 - 09:09 AM I am sad to report the death of David Surette, a very fine traditional musician playing guitar, mandolin and bouzouki. He died suddenly on December 18th following a six year battle with cancer. He was a performer, teacher and lover of the traditional music of New England. A very gifted musician, his rendition of "Athol Highlanders" on the guitar is magnificent. My condolences go to his wife and family and all those who miss him. I have added his name to the "In Memoriam" thread. RIP |
