a whole lot of posts, something like two weeks of posts. I had to do a repeat post of Buain a' Choirce because of that, Runrig Fan. You weren't picked out in particular; it happened to all of us who posted during that time.

CORRECTION: change "uibhir" to "uachdair". I copied the lyrics as given at http://www.celticartscenter.com/Songs/Scottish/Buain_AChoirce.html, but "air uachdair", at the top makes more sense.

here are the relevant verses with "air uachdair" substituted for "air uimhir"

Runrig Fan is correct with the words "air uachdair a' ghoirtein". That would mean the "at the top" of the field. I simply copied the words I was given, but "uibhir", also spelled "uibhir", is a word for a number, a quantity - so doesn't make so much sense to me in this context. I would choose to sing "uachdair" instead of "uibhir".
