There are a number of cartoons that are shared to the Facebook page because Mudcat doesn't allow the posting of actual images on thread pages. But Mudcat does allow for the posting of links, and some interesting conversations can follow the humor of the cartoon.

This is a test for sharing images posted to the Mudcat Facebook page that users of this original Mudcat Café site can view and remark on.

Boy Scots is the one I'll start with. After pasting the link I add target="_blank" before closing the html caret, allowing it to open in another page and not navigate away from the first post.

In order to share a cartoon, select the image (not just from Facebook, can be come from other sites, Twitter, personal web pages, etc.) and right click over the image to bring up a context menu. Choose "Copy Image Address" then paste it into the message and make it into a hot link or use Mudcat's link app ("blue clicky").

These often generate interesting conversations that after a few days are lost on Facebook. Once here, it's possible to migrate a discussion to an existing thread or decide to start a new one.

Just because we can't see the pictures here doesn't mean we can't share them.

If you can't make the blue clicky, post the whole very long URL in the thread and I or one of the others will turn it into a link. I tried trimming off some of the extra tracking parts of the URL I shared and it didn't work, so share the whole thing.
