There is a Child Ballads group on Facebook. Their purpose:
"Share resources, books, scholar research, videos, rare recordings, maybe your own renditions of the old folk ballads collected by Francis J. Child, and related American, Scottish, Irish and English folk ballads."
You can find it on Facebook by searching the site for Child Ballads.
Anyone who misses Jim Carroll will find that he has posted several lengthy essays to the group. I noticed that Brian Peters also contributes.
