I'm surprised to see no mention of the passing of Elizabeth Stewart from ABerdeenshire. One of the great travellers singers.
Her funeral took place 28th October 2022.

Elizabeth Stewart was an early source of the song Up Among the Heather

I was sorry to hear of the death of Elizabeth. She was, as others have noted, a fine singer. She will be sorely missed. I send my condolences to all those who know and love her and have added her name to the "In Memoriam" thread. RIP Elizabeth

So sorry to hear of her passing. A lovely lady I met a couple of times in Dublin. Her CD Binnorie is so beautiful and I play it regularly. Heartfelt condolences to her family and friends
