I would like to go wireless on my microphone. It is quite an old, but very good, Shure but I know next to nothing about wireless connections and I don't have a lot of money to spend ....... any advice.

How much distance between the mic and the speakers or equipment it would connect to? As a purely thought exercise (I have a number of mics here from my Dad but I never use them) I'd be looking around for Bluetooth adapters that are rechargeable. Does it have a standard size plug or a mini plug?

Bluetooth = latency. Watever you play into the microphone will come out of your speakers slightly later. In some situations this may not bother you but using it to play live will likely drive you round the bend.
