Subject: Obit: Phil Hare From: Dave the Gnome Date: 05 Jan 24 - 01:23 PM Sad news indeed :-( Lifted straight from Facebook "Sorry to any friends that I have not yet been able to contact but it appears that the FB telegraph has beaten me to it. I am not and probably will never be as verbose as Phil but I am saddened to say that Phil passed away last night. Having fought Prostate cancer with the treatment results looking positive, it appears that a massive heart attack finally took him. I am currently awaiting reports from the Coroner. Funeral arrangements will be made when I am able. Take care everyone and be good to each other, Steph Hare" Condolonces to Steph, Siobhan and all his loved ones. he was a lovely man and good friend of all of us from Swinton Folk Club. If anyone wants to to see some amazing guitar playing and wonderful perfomances, look up his YouTube channel. |

Subject: RE: Obit: Phil Hare From: MoorleyMan Date: 05 Jan 24 - 06:21 PM How very sad. Phil sure was one of the good guys, a lovely man indeed as well as a superbly stylish musician. I'd not seen him for a few years, now I realise why that was. My condolences, to Steph especially. |
