It's about the CD that Van Morrison and Lonnie Donegan made together with Chris Barber. If anybody wants to know what "skiffle" is all about, listen to this record. Van Morrison invited two of his youth heroes to play the old skifflesongs together. Skiffle was a big hit in England (and Holland as well). Lonnie and Chris must be 65 or so, but they sound like on their first recordings in the fifties. It is a live recording from 1998 in Belfast. |

He just keeps touching new(and old) bases with a spirit that is a gift from on high. A more versatile artist can't be found on this planet. I looked for this CD today but washed out. I WILL find it.
