Subject: Joe Hill chords? From: GUEST,ddw Date: 08 Feb 00 - 09:21 PM My music partner is interested in working up a version of Joe Hill and I've been trying to learn it from Joan Baez's version. Most of the chords are easy and I've worked out some that fit pretty well, but I'm not sure they're the ones JB uses. What I'm using are:
G — C —G Not sure of the minors in the second line. What do you use? thanx david |

Subject: RE: Joe Hill chords? From: ddw Date: 08 Feb 00 - 11:15 PM Thanks, Frand and Ray Frank. I had toyed with the Em in there, but it sounded better to my ear to go back to a G in the second line. I'll try it again when I get home using your progressions and see what it sounds like. Thanx again. david |
