Does anyone have a copy of the music - or at least words and chords - for Two Little Boys sung by Rolf Harris (among others).

Thanks,

Adrianne

I can't help you with the music or chords but the lyrics are at least pretty close to this:

"TWO LITTLE BOYS" sung by Rolf Harris

Two little boys had two little toys,
Each had a wooden horse.
Gaily they played each summer day,
Warriors both, of course.
One little chap then had a mishap
And broke off his horse's head.
He cried for his toy then cried for joy
As his young playmate said,

"Did you think I would leave you crying
When there's room on my horse for two?
Climb up here, Joe. We'll soon be flying.
I can go just as fast with two.
When we grow up, we'll both be soldiers,
And our horses will not be toys.
I wonder if we'll remember
When we were two little boys."

Long years passed. War came so fast.
Bravely they marched away.
Cannon roared loud, and in the mad crowd,
Wounded and dying, Joe lay.
Up went a shout and a horse dashed out,
Out from the ranks so blue,
And galloped away to where Joe lay,
And then came a voice Joe knew:

Did you think I would leave you dying
When there's room on my horse for two?
Climb up here, Joe. We'll soon be flying.
I can go just as fast with two.
Do you know, Joe, I'm all a-tremble?
Perhaps it's the battle noise.
But I think it's that I remember
When we were two little boys.

Subject: Lyr Add: TWO LITTLE BOYS (parody by Billy Connolly

Did you hear the Billy Connolly parody about police brutality?

From "Raw Meat For The Balcony"

Two little boys had two little toys,
A whistle and a helmet too.
Though they were only wee, you could plainly see
What they'd grow up into.
They were kicking other wains and were bashing in their brains,
Shopping everybody, too.
They didn't reform. Now they're in uniform.
They're two little boys in blue.

CHORUS: Do you think I would leave you lying
When I can lie me head off too?
If somebody squawks in the witness box,
I'll cover up for you.
We can tell a pack of lies, pull the wool over their eyes,
Like the Sergeant taught us to,
And before you count to three, we'll be off Scot-free.
We're two little boys in blue.

The duty sergeant said, "Tuck the prisoners into bed.
But before you take their cocoa through,
Lock them in their cells and hit them where it tells,
But don't leave them black and blue.
You can hit them in the balls, bang their heads off of the walls,
Smash them in the kidneys, too.
Beat them on the legs and thighs, but don't give them black eyes,
Or you'll be a prisoner too." CHORUS

So if you see them on the beat as they swagger down the street,
I've a piece of advice for you:
Don't trust to luck. Turn 'round and run like... "the clappers"
From the two little boys in blue. CHORUS
