Subject: Eric Andersen From: GUEST,wendee Date: 20 Mar 00 - 03:00 PM I am looking for an Eric Andersen song written in the mid to late 70's that I listened to on a trip out west the spring of 1980. It's about a girl working as a waitress in a restaurant but I never found out the name of the song. Can anyone help supply the song name or the album name or even the words as none of Eric's songs are posted on the Net. |

Subject: RE: Tune Req: Eric Andersen From: ddw Date: 20 Mar 00 - 11:19 PM Easy, I have an Eric Andersen songbook at home. Haven't looked at it for years, but I think it has those two songs in it. It's not tab, just music and chords, if I remember correctly. If you're interested in that, let me know and I'll work out a way to get them to you. And Wendee, I'll also check it when I get home to see if there's anything that seems to match your request. It might be helpful, tho', if you could give me a little more of the story line or some other hint to go on. cheers, david |

Subject: RE: Tune Req: Eric Andersen song about waitress From: leeneia Date: 24 Dec 20 - 10:35 AM Thanks, Hagman. I like those lyrics. Brussels in October the yellow gray's all I recall The rain ran on forever like the wires on a trolley car Reminds me of Bill Bryson writing about a weeks-long rainy spell in England. "It was like living in Tupperware." |
