Dear Petr,

Click here for lyrics in Irish.

I apologize for not seeing your question before. Next time, be sure and use the 'Search the Forum' link, which you can find at the top of the page under the 'Quick Links' drop-down menu. I searched for just the word 'buile' and found this old thread.

Great good luck to you, Áine

BTW -- I should have said that I entered the word 'buile' in the 'Subject' category on the 'Search the Forum' page.

And while I'm still here -- Cá bhfuil mo bheoir?

Slán go fóill, Áine

Thanks for your help Aine (sorry I havent figured out the fada on my keyboard yet) and Im afraid I dont speak Gaelic having been born in the Czech lands originally. Since Im on that subject is there an Anglo-Irish dictionary online or anything like the Babelfish translator that youre aware of. cheers Petr

Hi Petr......As Aine said, try the search link or simply enter 'gaelic' in the filter box above (on the main page) and refresh for two years. You'll find several interesting threads with good links to exactly what you're looking for!

Dear Petr,

I, for one, will look askance in the future. If you utter the sacred phrase: "Free beer!" You had better be prepared to stand and deliver.

Fortunato

Ok Fortunato, if you are in Vancouver look me up, check out the Irish Heather or Culpeppers and Ill buy you a beer. That applies (especially) to Aine as well, thanks for the help. Heck anyother mudcatter or fellow musician/singer that drops in on our session can have beer on me. (since woody allen said it is theoreticallly possible for everyone in the whole world to go into a jewish restaurant and order blintzes but not likely I will limit that offer to the first couple hundred or so). Cheers, PEtr.

Free Beer!!! That's the attraction. So what does this musical thread have to do with my beer? I'm tempted to start writing in little bitty letters, or something ;)

From the Wash, DC area to Vancouver, eh? It's a long way to go for a beer. What kinds do you have? There are worse motivations for travel, I suppose. Alls right again, Petr.

cheers, Fortunato
