Subject: RE: Radio: Episode XXX Tonight From: Sorcha Date: 12 Apr 00 - 09:21 PM Wow, "my" banjo players are so great! ($2.00 brag). Yea, part of the time it's me hollering. The other fiddler and I do "Dueling Hand Claps"--we each have a banjo player we follow, and we alternate moving our hands vertically, horizontially, in circles, etc. to the whole tune. Sometimes I grab the tambourine with the actual duet parts. Audience thinks it's great. (and WE have a great time!) |
Subject: RE: Radio: Episode XXX Tonight From: Mbo Date: 12 Apr 00 - 09:26 PM Well it SURE sounds like it Sorcha! YES! Aine, thank you! Sorry, but the Flyers are gonna take the Cup this year, don't care what anyone says! --Mbo |
Subject: RE: Radio: Episode XXX Tonight From: MMario Date: 13 Apr 00 - 10:43 AM Why is it I only get "broadcast" on nights I don't get to listen!! "Creation Week Songs" is from a fund-raising project for a summer camp I do, and am on the board for. The tape is about half original songs and half traditional. Sung by a group of counselors and staff one Columbus Day weekend a few years ago. (fourteen hours of mixed rehearsal and taping on saturday and ten hours on sunday....) (Max, I DID send a cover letter with the cassette...) River of Love is by Wayne Wiseman, and he is the lead vocal on the song, I am back there in the chorus (holding the note on the word "mirror")....I think I sang on every song except 2. I have the lead on the one I wrote... |
Subject: RE: Radio: Episode XXX Tonight From: Bert Date: 13 Apr 00 - 10:49 AM That'll teach you to listen ALL the time MMario ;-) |
