Subject: David C's and Alan C's gig From: Kelida Date: 14 Apr 00 - 11:12 PM Hey, just got back from the show about half an hour ago. It was really exciting, and definitely very good. My friend Erica and I loved it! Hey, it's Erica!!! Today has been an extremely cultured day for me... after Bridget and I went to a preview of an art tour, we skipped over to this little concert. I don't get many opportunities to enjoy things like this... definitely good for all ages, all cultures. I saw people who were used to that sort of thing be-bopping along with me, enjoying themselves as much as I was. Especially that lady who dragged/conned me into waltzing with her. SOMEONE wouldn't dance with me... (cough BRIDGET cough!) However, despite the lack of CERTAIN PEOPLE'S involvement, I enjoyed myself immensely. It was a Celtic/Folk PAR-TAY! I'm still jigging. Lum dum dum da da di di da... Keli back, here. Well, as E. already said, it was great fun, and there's nothing like good music to lift the spirits. Anyway, it was great! Peace--Keli and Friend |

I was over at NEFFA seeing Sandy and Caroline Paton, Dick Greenhaus and Susan of DT and Susan A-R and Pete Peterson and lots o' others. My daughter didn't feel well so we had to leave early!! Next year I'm going alone. |

Subject: RE: David C's and Alan C's gig From: Allan C. Date: 16 Apr 00 - 05:52 PM I was happy to see that Kelida and Erica were enjoying themselves at the gig. Their obvious enthusiasm and attentiveness helped us to get through the hard parts. There were some truly fabulous musician who performed there. Two of them, who I heard in practice were particularly enjoyable. One played the hammered dulcimer and the other a folk harp. The combination was lovely. |
