I'm going to the Folklife Festival in Seattle next weekend (May 26-28) for the first time, and am finding the schedule quite mind boggling, trying to be at the right place at the right time. Any Mudcat folks performing, familiar with performers, etc., or able to give me good strategic tips? I'm especially interested in British isles and American folk and some blues, also trad. and contemporary Latin American styles. Also, know of any sessions happening afterhours? Thanks!

Hi, Winnie - You should be able to find just about any kind of folk music on the grounds -- it is a fabulous Festival--glad you're going. I'll be there -- performing Saturday at 1:00 at the performance studio at the Children's Museum. Hope to see you there!

Hey Winnie!

Both MC'ers Musicman and Mudjack are performing that weekend. Should be a lovely time.
