Hi, Fiddler - you can click here: I WANT A GIRL (JUST LIKE THE GIRL THAT MARRIED DEAR OLD DAD) for the sheet music, but I don't know how you can get away from those baffling chords in the chorus. I haven't been able to find an easy arrangement.

UK Mudcatters will be familiar with The Royle Family. Jim Royle (played by Ricky Tomlinson) sings his banjo version of this old song in one episode. It's probably on YouTube

There seem to be a page missing from Levy's copy of I WANT A GIRL (JUST LIKE THE GIRL THAT MARRIED DEAR OLD DAD).

thanks for the chords for this great old song.

Rolf Harris used a parody as a jingle for advertising British Paints many years ago.

I have had my autoharp for 8 weeks now and it was great to find these chords. only had to make one adjustment as mine is a 15 chord harp. the E7 works fine for the E and I just left out the B7 and it is fine.
