Well, for once here is a bit of good news , hot off the press the one and only Mudcat vet, our own, our very dear JenEllen has been and gone and taken the plunge and got married!!!!!!! Many congratulations and felicitations to you and Mike, he must be a great guy. I still love you to pieces and look forward to that "night out" with you and Morty…..bring a spare liver… and was Angus Best Man??? and Sully Flower girl???

But I tell ya' Mike.....You need to take REAL good care of that woman or there are a lot of folks around here who will be out to kick your ass.........and JE may be one!!! Outside of a dog, a good woman is the best thing you can have in your life. Of course, inside of a dog, its very dark.

Thanks guys. And kat, the fella came right in all smiles about talking to you....and the poem/song is lovely.

I got railroaded, that's all I can say. *bg* He's been after my hide for close to eight years now, and I flat out ran out of excuses. For the past three he's called me "Lizard-Breath the First" after Queen Liz, all the red-headed tantrums and marriage dodging..

I finally got my head outta my arse and decided to make a life with my best friend (go figure). He knows me better than anyone, stood beside me through my many trials at serial monogamy, makes me laugh, puts up with my wicked ways, and even spent the last month or so coming over every morning (20 miles one way) to tie my shoes for me since my hand's been bunged up. Besides that, Angus and Sully like him...

Angus wasn't best dog, he was a mite pissed at all the folks running wild through the house. Sully disappeared except for the late night hikes through the hop field. They are just waiting for life to return to a semblance of normal.

Micca, all I figure is that now on our night out, I'll have somebody sober to point my way home. Hell, he can carry the spare liver. The ring never did get to the finger (YOU got the finger..) but he had a pretty little silver number made with an Ellensburg Blue in it that's on a chain 'round my neck.

Matt, he's lived through MANY encounters with the mallet. He's just one of the few that's lived to tell about it. Thanks for all the love and support, you helped push this along more than you know.

Kendall, he knows what kind of vile-tempered flirt he hooked himself up with. I think adjoining rockers are the least of his worries!

Same for you Darlin'Spaw. Corn season be damned, Karen knows what kinda fella she got, and wouldn't trade you for the moon I'll bet.

Morty, I didn't tell you because I didn't KNOW!

Amergin, your card cracked me up, true back-woods wedding around here, minus the farm animals in the wedding party o'course! LOL (A friend of ours used my back yard to get married last summer, and right at the "does anyone have just cause why these two should not be wed" bit, the neighbor's goats kicked up such a racket you wouldn't believe.)
