Chris,
When you say collections in County Monaghan, do you mean songs relating to the area itself?
There are "The Monaghan Jig", "Monaghan Fair" and also the song that is used to represent the county in the GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association)- "The Town of Ballybay" which was recorded by amongst others - "The Dublin City Ramblers."

Sorry if I've misunderstood your request,
best wishes, Yvonne

There are a few such in Robin Morton's long out of print, Folksongs Sung in Ulster and some in Sean McElgunn's "Songs of the Winding Erne, the second volume of which is available (but only just and for a vast sum) from Ulstersongs (which I run) www.ulstersongs.com
