Hi peoples, In the song "Tiki Torches at Twilight" there's one sentence I can't understand. It's the last sentence of the bridge :

Lets all get normal at ....¿?¿?

Help me out please. The whole works would be good too, if anybody has them! Yo.

Thanks RR, That's just what it sounds like, but what does it mean? The rest of the song is pretty understandable, even for a Dutchman. But "Luau" ? Yo.

Yo,

According to my dictionary a luau is "A Hawaiian party or feast usually accompanied by some form of entertainment"

Thanks guest, that would make sence.

I know we've talked about it on the Mudcat, a couple of weeks ago. Some people knew quite a bit about this song. So, what's the meaning of the story again guys? Johan.

Yo, I'll see if I can dredge that thread up.The luau is quite pertinent to why the song was written.

OK Yo. If I can do the blue clickey thing right, you should find the story here. If that doesn't work, go to forum search, enter David Lindley in the filter box,set the age at 180 day,hit search, and you will find the thread you started that has the story.

RR, the blue clicky thing brought me right back to the first Mudcat-page. So that didn't work. The searchthing did though... I'll go back and read a little bit. Thanks eh!! Yo.
