Subject: Anyone in the choral religious singing? From: Escamillo Date: 17 Sep 00 - 08:33 AM In another thread I offered Basque songs in choral arrangements for Christmas. If someone is interested in choral religious pieces, I could contribute with many that are really wonderful, and would be something new and exciting for your audiences and congregations in UK, USA and other countries. For example, the Lord's Prayer of Father Madina, Basque Christmas, also some Argentinian choral works, and Spanish-rooted songs in general, in the classical tradition, or more or less folk-related. Most of them are public domain, but I would be glad to buy originals for those which are not, and send them to you. Un abrazo - Andrés |

From: Lena Date: 17 Sep 00 - 08:36 AM Could you give me the name of the thread for the Basque songs?!I grew up with a morbid interest in Basque culture. Thanks. Desmantelo,desmantelas,desmantela,desmantelamos,desmantelais,desmantelan...this are my improvements with Spanish. |
Subject: RE: Someone in the choral religious singing? From: Escamillo Date: 17 Sep 00 - 08:58 AM The thread is "Non traditional Christmas songs" and is now active. The subject of Basque songs was brought by myself. I was a tenor at the local Basque community choir LAGUN ONAK in Buenos Aires up to 1999 (now I'm in the Wagnerian Association) but I have kept many songs and could obtain more from them. Why such interest in the verb "desmantelar" ? Are you studying the evolution of Argentine Industry ? :)
