Subject: RE: BS: RIP - Julie London From: Ebbie Date: 19 Oct 00 - 03:26 PM My x-husband longed (lusted?) after her; and I'm sure he is grieving the loss. He was in the Navy when Cry Me a River came out and he never got over it. I'm sure that is true of a lot of other lonesome people. Rest in Peace, Julie London. Ebbie |

Subject: RE: BS: RIP - Julie London From: M. Ted (inactive) Date: 19 Oct 00 - 10:29 PM She was one of the few who sounded as good on the record as she looked on the album cover-- Cry Me A River was my all time favorite Guitar/Vocal duet-She and Barney Kessel recorded a number of other cuts in that same vein, none were hits, but all were great--I would love to have a CD of that stuff--
