Don't know the lyrics, but Walter Brennan, Dean Martin, and Ricky Nelson do a great version in the classic western movie, "Rio Bravo". John Wayne also stars, and a great version of "My Rifle, My Pony and Me" is also heard.

There is a wonderful version of it done by Sam Hinton on a Library of Congress recording of his from March 25, 1947. Joe Offer, of the Mudcat, shared it with me and the whole CD is just incredible.

If you have an email addy, I could make an audio file of the recording of that one song, so that you could hear it.

I found a Bluegrass midi of it here.

I remember a Thanksgiving special about ten years ago featuring the choirs of Brigham Young University. There was a solo of "How Can I Keep From Singing?", a choir singing "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing," and then an all male chorus singing "Cindy, Cindy." You got the feeling that they were about to bust loose!
