I haven't seen the Mudcat this slow in ages. Each page change, posting entered, thread clicked on seems to take forever.

I've gone to other websites and not had a problem, so I think it is the Mudcat. I know Max isn't feeling well and is swamped, so understand it may take awhile, if something needs fixing. Would just like to know if I am the only one experiencing this or not.

Treacle is the word. Though it took me forever to get my mail and the weather. So the mail I"ll get tomorrow-and for the weather-I'll just look out the window. It may be a good night to do the laundry.

I just checked, and Ragtime's not there. Maybe it's The Great Change in action or something was eaten by web-weasles when everything crashed. Anyhow, it's slow here, too.

Once I get to a thread (which takes longer than usual) speed seems normal, but loading Forum Home takes an incredibly long time -- long enough to get another swig of Poland Spring water, use the facilities upstairs and start packing up stuff to take to work.

I, too, checked performance on other sites, and came to the conclusion it's a Mudcat thing. Hope it's cured soon! (Or else it's a tool to teach patience -- Zen and the Art of Mudcat.)

Working on it folks. The new upgrade is going to be significantly more stable and faster. http://ragtime.mudcat.org/threads.cfm is back up with most of its features enabled, and I'm going to work to get Loki back up today.

I have http://loki.mudcat.org/threads.cfm woking now as well. Also, the "Killing a Thread" thread, at 441 messages, was hurting the Mudcat and was stupid, so I hid it.
