Subject: "The Bum Song" & "Hsallelujah I'm a Bum" From: GUEST,Zorro Date: 20 Nov 00 - 11:00 PM I have a 78 rpm; a Diva recording of The Bum Song and Hallelujah! I'm a Bum by "Hobo" Jack Turner. The record says it was made 1-21-13. My brother has been trying to find it on the internet, to download it as the 78 is scratched pretty bad. Can anybody help??? |
Subject: Lyr Add: HALLELUJAH, I'M A BUM From: SINSULL Date: 21 Nov 00 - 10:54 AM Check the DigiTrad for two versions. Here's one from a website. As for the recording, try some of the record companies online who specialize in 78RPMs. Are you the Zorro who used to post here a year or so ago? You may want to check back on some of the old threads you started. Some came to the top recently. There is new information for you. HALLELUJAH, I'M A BUM DOh, I love my boss, and my boss loves me And that's the reason that I'm so hungry Oh, springtime has come, and I'm just out of jail Without any money and without any bail I went to a house and I knocked on the door A lady came out, says, you've been here before |
Subject: RE: I have a 78rpm; a Diva recording of From: Brendy Date: 05 Dec 00 - 05:24 AM Both songs are on Napster. All Jolson is the only one I can find with a recording of "Hallelujah..', whereas Tom Green is the only one I find with 'The Bum Song'. I don't know if it is the same as you are looking for; Hobo Jack Turner doesn't seem to feature, but it may be some help, anyway. B. |
