Yup, we figured it was time to do a few gigs together. Sandy can fill you in on the details (the places and phone numbers are on my website and Folk-Legacy's) but if any Mudcatters are in the vicinity of Hyde Park New York Friday night (Nov.29th), The Sounding Board in Hartford Connecticut on Sat. night, or Worcester Mass. on Sunday afternoon, we'd love to see you. After that, I have to bust my ass and get back to Toronto for the radio show on Monday.

Rick

Sorry, gang. I failed to get these up on the Folk-Legacy web site "tour" schedule. Mea culpa. I simply forgot to do it. The Paton gigs listed there are from last year. You'll really have to hurry to catch any of THEM!

Sandy

Whoops! Starting times are:

Hyde Park: 8 p.m.
Hartford's Sounding Board: 8 p.m.
Worcester: 4 p.m.

I'm not the world's best giggle (small gig) promoter, I'm afraid. Where's Duckboots when we need her?

Have a great show guys! It would be nice to get that combination up to the Chocolate Church some day.

Sandy, tell Rick about the Chocolate Church and convince him he wants to play there, please.

Dear Rick, Caroline, & Sandy
That a tour??!! Come on!

Now, if when you leave your last gig, you get on the highway; go west for a while; then southwest a bit longer; you'll be in Oklahoma!
There we'll have kind hearts and friendly people - Good People - Good Music - Good Times. Wish you would join us.

Have a great time. I know your music will be superb. Wish I could be there.
Sincerely,
Phil

Well, Rick's birthday concert in Hyde Park was a great evening! Rick did a half set, followed by Sandy & Caroline. Then, the 3 of them did the second set together. They did a lovely mix of music--enjoyable, I think, for them as well as for the audience. Duane & I spent some time chatting w/ Sandy, Caroline, & Rick both before & after the concert. Hope we didn't make nuisances of ourselves! Duane took some nice photos that we'll pass on to the folks. They can decide if they want to share any w/ the group. I've been thinking about tonight's Hartford concert. The Worcester folks are still in for a treat!

best to all,

bbc

Realizing that Nova Scotia is like, the dark side, to Upper Canadians, its probably just a waste of my typing skills to suggest a jaunt this way! But really, its just a short 18 hour drive or so (faster if you fly). So whaddya say? It'd be sssooooooo easy! C'mon, C'mon, awwwwww, now you're making me beg! Think about it......lobster, beer, lots of pubs, great sea air....I know I've got you hooked now......just let me know when and I'll find the perfect spot for you!

Crying, again, in Nova Scotia Pixie

Well, I've been reading along here and also in Rick's birthday thread and it seems (big surprise) that y'all are doing great. I would like to pass on my sincerest sympathy to Caroline.........I mean, you're always stuck with Sandy, but to have Rick too................

And BTW Rick, Heather says the kitchen looks great without the wall and that one of the firefighters actually knew El Swanno. Small world huh?
