Subject: What happened to Fast Folk? From: blt Date: 07 Dec 00 - 03:54 PM About 7 years ago, I recorded a song that ended up on a Fast Folk recording, which I never received. Does anyone know how to contact the Fast Folk people, or if they're still around? |

Subject: RE: Help: What happened to Fast Folk? From: blt Date: 07 Dec 00 - 04:10 PM Yes, I think it originated in NYC, but for awhile they were doing regional recordings of folk singer/songwriters. The CD I was a part of was from the Eugene, OR area. |
Subject: RE: Help: What happened to Fast Folk? From: Mike Regenstreif Date: 07 Dec 00 - 05:12 PM Fast Folk is no longer in business. Their masters were donated to the Smithsonian and are now available as custom CDs from Smithsonian Folkways. You can see the complete list of what's available at the Fast Folk link on the Smithsonian Folkways web site. Mike Regenstreif |
