Can anyone please help me find the lyrics or anything at all about the song Trois Matelots Du Port-De-Brest that appears on the first Arcady album, "After the Ball"?

I haven't heard of the band, but I can tell you that the song is a version of La Courte Paille (The Short Straw).  It's found all over France and in Canada in various forms, and probably gave rise to a traditional English song, The Ship in Distress.  Lyrics for a set apparantly collected in Brittany may be found on several websites, and I've added them to an earlier thread dealing with The Ship in Distress, where there is already another version and links to more.  Click here for  Trois Matelots du Port de Brest.  I can't guarantee that this is precisely the same as the one you've heard, but it should be pretty close.
